The International Journal of Renewable Energy Development was first commenced in 2012 published by Center of Biomass and Renewable Energy (CBIORE).
Since 2012, the journal was publishing three issues (February, July, Oct) with 30 articles per year in average and already has high author diversities since then.
On Feb 2013, the journal was included in DOAJ as the largest database for open access journal.
On 2016, the journal was included in Emerging Science Citation Index (ESCI).
On 2019, the journal has been accepted to be indexed by Scopus, as the prestigious indexing services.
Starting 2021, the IJRED publishes 4 issues a year (February, May, August, November) with 15-17 articles per issue.
Starting 2023, the IJRED journal publishes 6 issues a year with 15-20 articles per issue.
